How to setup a Succesful Interior Design Business

"I am currently in the process of doing research to set up an interior design business. I am currently reading your book "How to start a successful and profitable interior design business" and I cannot thank you enough ! The book is one of the best books I have read in terms of interior design business start-ups and has helped me so much."

“Interior design has and always will be a popular business for creative people. Over the years I have met and taught hundreds of budding and very talented aspiring interior designers. Many have a passion for their subject that they don’t feel when it comes to the business side of being a designer. Sadly, this is why some design businesses fail. In fact, some fall at the first hurdle due to lack of knowledge and experience. Because of their love for the job, many designers feel embarrassed to talk about money be it their fee, cost of materials or other expenses.

I don’t want this to happen to you so have written this book to ensure that your business is profitable and that you are equipped to run and develop it in the best way possible.”

Use this e-book as your personal workbook. You can use the forms I’ve designed for your own business until such time as you create your own. Please feel free to download any of the templates for your own use.

There are many different ways of doing most things but I prefer not to overcomplicate anything. I’d suggest that you use the chapter headings as a guide to anything of particular interest but working through the book from start to finish will provide a more cohesive learning experience. As with any subject, there will be overlaps between subject areas and these will be better explained if you simply start at the beginning and work through."
